This weekend I saw The Artist, my first time going to see a movie in a theater in over a year. I loved the film, but (per usual) the previews were my favorite part of the experience.
There’s something that fires me up about watching a story unfold over the course of only a few minutes with dramatic music in the background and epic title cards.
Case in point:

2011 was the year of trial and error: I tried on everything I thought would point me into the direction of a sense of Purpose and I let go of … a lot.
A friend described me as throwing myself against the wall until I broke through.
That sounds about right.
While I can’t claim this was a graceful endeavor (I certainly came out with a fair share of emotional/mental bruises), it was extremely effective in helping me determine which of my dreams were actually good ideas for me.

Life Lessons Learned From Watching Coldplay In Concert

Last week I was lucky enough to attend my first big concert ever in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. It was worth the wait! The band was Coldplay and they were off-the-charts incredible. Regardless of your taste in music, it would be near impossible not to enjoy the show. That's because lead singer Chris Martin, his band-mates, and the crew let the audience in on the fun and kept their promise of "giving everything they've got."

I recently finished watching the Harry Potter movie series. I’ll spare you my Top Ten Life Lessons Learned from Watching Harry Potter, but I loved this quote spoken by Harry himself:
