I'm an actor who fell madly in love with NYC and The Great White Way upon visiting for the first time in the 5th grade and sitting in the front row of Cats.  I moved from California by way of Japan, having saved enough money singing jazz standards with a big band for a year. 

My first love was musical theatre, and I was a happy hoofer in regional productions including Singin' In The Rain, Crazy For You, and A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum.

But a funny thing really did happen when I made my Broadway debut in a Tony-nominated premiere of a drama called Time Stands Still by Donald Margulies and directed by Daniel Sullivan. I was the understudy for both Laura Linney and Alicia Silverstone, following the world premier at The Geffen Playhouse wherein I understudied Alicia Silverstone and Anna Gunn. 

Long story short (that I'm happy to share more about over bourbon),  I took a sabbatical for a few years to see what else the world had in store. I travelled to nearly 50 countries on six continents, dabbled in entrepreneurship, created a career as an impresario and advocate for the humanities, including my TEDx talk on philosophy as the life-hack of the future.

More recently I created a monthly on-stage interview series called The Happier Hour: Philosophy To Help Life Suck Less, which is being turned into a podcast and book.

But as they say, you can take the girl out of acting, but you can't take acting out of the girl. My heart is most at home on stage and on set.

Since my return to acting, I've been studying with method acting teacher Tony Greco, brushing up on my RP, Brooklyn, and southern accents with dialect coach Amanda Quaid, and prepping for my upcoming intensive with Shakespeare & Company.

I'm also working on turning my first one-act play, which debuted at the Inge Festival for Beth Henley, into my first full-length play.
